Kembang Janggut, 8 June 2025 – In celebration of Eid al-Adha, PT REA KALTIM PLANTATIONS (“REA”) distributed 19 sacrificial animals to 17 villages across Kutai Kartanegara and Kutai Timur, including Kembang Janggut and Tabang.
Eid al-Adha is a time that honours sacrifice, compassion, and solidarity—values that resonate deeply with REA’s commitment to empowering local communities. As part of our Empowering Livelihoods pillar, this initiative reflects our commitment to fostering inclusivity and shared growth, particularly among smallholders and their surrounding communities.
“Our annual distribution of sacrificial animals is a meaningful way to support local traditions while strengthening our bond with the communities around us,” said Dian Mayasari, REA’s Partnership & Smallholder Manager. “It is part of our broader goal to promote well-being and social resilience, especially in areas where we operate.”
This initiative forms part of REA’s Community Development Programme, which promotes long-term value creation through education, economic opportunity, and social upliftment. By cultivating shared prosperity today, we help build a more resilient tomorrow - Cultivating Tomorrow, Today.
